The public discussion of draft amendments to the List of standards that will ensure the implementation of requirements of CU technical regulation 'On the Safety of Perfumery and Cosmetic Products' started

The Eurasian Economic Commission informs of the beginning of the public discussion of draft amendments to the List of standards the voluntary use of which ensure the implementation of requirements of Customs Union (CU) technical regulation 'On the Safety of Perfumery and Cosmetic Products' (ТР ТС 009/2011).

The draft amendments to the List of standards are submitted to the EEC by the State Committee on Standardization of the Republic of Belarus. 

The draft amendments provide for:

- an updated version of the List of standards; 

- inclusion of 20 adopted interstate standards;

- inclusion of 1 standard of the Republic of Belarus and 3 standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- exclusion of cancelled standards of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation;

- determination of terms of use for amended standards and amendments;

- editorial clarifications.

In accordance with Decision of the EEC No 306 dated December 25, 2012 'On the approval of the Regulations for the procedure of developing and approving lists of international and regional standards and in case of their absence - national (state) standards of the CU Member States ensuring the compliance with requirements of the CU technical regulation and necessary for the assessment (confirmation) of compliance', the draft amendments to the List of standards is published on the EEC official web-site on the Internet.

Observations and proposals of persons concerned from the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and third countries are submitted to the Eurasian Economic Commission, email: dept_techregulation@eecommission.org.

The EEC addresses business community members, inviting them to take an active part in the discussion of the draft amendments to the List of standards.
