По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

EAEU countries and Uzbekistan develop cooperation in light industry “from cotton field to consumer shelf”

The countries of the Eurasian Economic Union are ready to expand cooperation with Uzbekistan in the light industry. In 2020, cotton yarn became the main commodity imported from Uzbekistan to the EAEU: its share in the total import volume amounted to 9%. And the potential is far from being exhausted. This topic was discussed at a meeting of a specialized expert group in Tashkent, organized by the industrial policy unit of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The EEC delegation was headed by Tigran Harutyunyan, Deputy Director of Industrial Policy Department.
