По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

Problems and prospects of industrial cooperation in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and tools for developing interaction between entrepreneurs were discussed by participants of the Eurasian Industrial Congress “Integration”, held on October 15 in Moscow. The discussion was attended by Members of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The initiative to hold the Congress comes from business representatives of the Union States interested in increasing effective and productive cooperation and creating high-tech production associations demanded by the market.

On October 14, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Board considered some issues in the spheres of industrial cooperation, common market of services, customs and technical regulation, transport and infrastructure, macroeconomics, functioning of the internal market and digitalization of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) economies.

A meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Council with the involvement of Deputy Heads of Governments of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries and Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman of the EEC Board, was held on September 30 in Yerevan (Armenia). The EEC Council’s Members considered issues in the spheres of functioning of the EAEU internal market, integration, customs tariff and technical regulation, international trade and economic cooperation, digitalization of the EAEU countries’ economies, tax policy and a number of others.

“Agro-industrial ecosystem creation is an important element of digital transformation. Here, a cross-sectoral approach is required, when we operate under a principle of rapid strategic planning through project activities. Logistics cannot be considered separately from the whole process of agricultural production. The digital ecosystem of agro-industrial complex should include an overall lifecycle from production, movement, consumption and utilization of agro-products. SmartCheck – a platform for authenticating products using microchips, the Republic of Armenia – won the lead in the Innovation Projects International Contest “Eurasian Digital Platforms” in 2019. E-Agro-Map – a project for producing agricultural e-maps, the Kyrgyz Republic – won the second place. AgroStream – a project, which is a solution for managing processes of agricultural enterprises, the Republic of Kazakhstan – won the third place. “Bank of Business Partners” - an online platform of solutions and services for import and export from Sberbank, the Russian Federation – and “Universal payment aggregator for online trading in the EAEU” - a single payment platform for the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries, the Republic of Belarus – were awarded the victory in the “Eurasian Economic Commission’s Sympathies” category.

E-Agro-Map (e-agricultural maps), “West Asia” (digital system for recording discrepancies and malfunctions on production site) and MyCargo.su (marketplace for cargo shipping in the EAEU States) became winners of the semi-final of the Innovation Projects International Contest “Eurasian Digital Platforms” in 2019 in the Kyrgyz Republic.
