По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

EAEU simplified rules for transportation of food and non-food products

The Eurasian Economic Union simplified the requirements for the transportation of food and non-food products. The Russian Federation canceled the requirements for the separate transportation of such products on the domestic market of the Eurasian "five" countries. This was announced by Gegham Vardanyan, the Minister in charge of Internal Markets, Informatization, Information and Communication Technologies of the EEC.

Russia has canceled mandatory customs declaring procedure for commodity groups, including coal, peat, alcohols, vitamins and others, except for raw oil and petroleum products exported from Russia to Belarus.

Four more interstate processes digitized in the Union

Three more processes of interstate (transboundary) electronic interaction in the customs sphere as well as a process of customs tariff and non-tariff regulation have been "digitized" and put into effect by the Dispositions adopted by the EEC Board. Data on these processes will be transmitted and processed by the Union’s integrated information system (IIS).

The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission has notified the Republic of Armenia of the need to cancel permits and duties on goods exported to the EAEU States (wood products, ores, ferrous waste and scrap and non-ferrous waste and scrap). They were established by the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On state duty" in 2012.

EAEU companies to be allowed to open their branches in Belarus
