По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.
EAEU introduces anti-dumping duty on leaf springs from PRC

On February 16, the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board decided to
impose an anti-dumping duty on leaf springs originating from the People's
Republic of China. The measure is imposed for five years; the duty amount will
be 14.11% of the customs value.
EEC zeroed import duties on precious stones for jewelry industry

On February 16, the Eurasian
Economic Commission’s Board decided to zero out import customs duty rates for
certain types of precious and semiprecious stones for a term of two years. In
particular, this refers to natural or artificial emeralds, sapphires, rubies,
jades, alexandrites, etc. used in the jewelry industry.
EEC creates conditions for developing aquaculture fish production

On February 16, the Eurasian
Economic Commission’s Board reduced the rates of import customs duties on
salmon breeding cages from 15% to 0% for one year. Currently, the Eurasian
Economic Union does not manufacture equipment of technological level required
for fish farming in northern conditions.
EAEU imposes anti-dumping duty on welded pipes and sections from PRC

On February 9, the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board decided to
impose an anti-dumping duty on a number of types of welded pipes and stainless
steel sections from the People's Republic of China. The duty will remain in
force for five years and its rate will be from 14.62 to 17.28%, depending on
the manufacturer.

Sergei Glazyev, Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and Botirjon Asadov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation, discussed issues of interaction between the Eurasian Economic Union and the Republic of Uzbekistan as the Observer State at the EAEU. The meeting was held on February 3 at the EEC’s headquarters.
