По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

The volume of mutual trade between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) States and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is not high enough. The integration associations need to expand trade, economic and investment interaction, including in developing the idea of the Greater Eurasian Economic Partnership. EEC develops cooperation with the OSCE

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) is ready to intensify interaction with the OSCE. This was stated by Goar Barsegyan, Deputy Director of the EEC Integration Development Department, at a meeting with Igli Hasani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Albania to the Republic of Austria, on December 5 in Bratislava (Slovak Republic). In 2020, the chairmanship in the OSCE will be assumed by Albania.

Ramping up relations through the business circles of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Mongolia, as well as the assistance of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and key business associations were the prime focus of the forum Russia – Mongolia: Doing Business in the EAEU's Single Market held in Moscow on December 4. One of the forum results was signing the action plan for 2020-2021 by the EEC and the Government of Mongolia.
