On July 21, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved joint forecasts for developing the agricultural sector and the supply and demand balance of the EAEU States for agricultural products, food, flax, rawstock, cotton and wool for 2020-2021. Then, the document will be considered by the EEC Council and the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council

The EIC has instructed the Eurasian Economic Commission, jointly with the Eurasian Economic Union States, to ensure developing the Union's industrialization map.

The Intergovernmental Council has approved drafting a map for developing the Eurasian Economic Union’s agroindustry. This involves creating an information resource about major investment and innovative projects important for developing the Union’s agricultural sector.

On July 17, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council approved the first global cooperative project of the Eurasian Economic Union countries in the sphere of rendering space and geoinformation services based on Earth remote sensing (ERS) data - an Interstate Program.

The Eurasian Economic Commission is ready to assist the Eurasian Economic Union countries in unifying methods for determining varietal qualities of planting material for fruit and berry crops and grapes as well as testing selective breeding results being created in livestock breeding. It is planned to perform research activities in these areas. This was discussed at a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Agriculture chaired by Artak Kamalyan, EEC Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture, held on July 13 at the Commission's headquarters.

On July 13, the EEC Council approved the first global cooperative project of the Eurasian Economic Union countries in the sphere of rendering space and geoinformation services based on Earth remote sensing (ERS) data - an Interstate Program that will become a pilot one for the Union Member States. Now one last step remains for its launch – approval by the Intergovernmental Council scheduled for July 17 this year.

The Eurasian Economic Commission's Industrial Unit jointly with the Eurasian Economic Union countries drafts a new strategic document to be implemented in the EAEU real economy - Main Directions of Industrial Cooperation 2.0 until 2025. This was stated by Artak Kamalyan, EEC Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture, during a working meeting with Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology (SCST) of the Republic of Belarus, held in Minsk.

At his working meeting with Petr Parkhomchik, Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, Artak Kamalyan, Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the EEC, highlighted the importance of joint work to develop and deepen the production cooperation, increase the localization of existing industrial facilities and address import substitution issues in the Eurasian Economic Union.

Today, the Eurasian Economic Commission has launched an https://is.gd/tVOrGf">online course "The EAEU: what it is and how it works" in the open E-education system "Universarium". The course will be available 24/7. A certificate will be issued for free based on the training results if the tests are successfully passed.
