The EEC, jointly with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, is preparing a list of cooperation projects for their possible financing by the Eurasian Development Bank. This and some other measures to support the EAEU's industrial projects were discussed in the Commission at a meeting chaired by Nikolay Kushnarev, Director of the EEC Industrial Policy Department.

Every year, the Eurasian Economic Commission publishes Facts and Figures – a brochure revealing the areas of the Commission's activities. This year was no exception. Ten brochures provide updated figures and important facts.

On December 22, the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board approved the recommendation "On uniform approaches to classifying farm animals and their products (material) as pedigree stock".

Cooperation between the EEC and the EDB in the industrial sector was discussed at a meeting at the EEC’s headquarters by Artak Kamalyan, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and Nikolay Podguzov, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank. In particular, they have considered projects in the field of import substitution, financing the Eurasian interstate programs and applying measures to support manufacturing facilities in the Eurasian Economic Union.

On December 15, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the list of joint research and development activities (R&D) in the agricultural sector of the Eurasian Economic Union Member States for 2021-2025.

The Heads of the EAEU Chambers of Commerce and Industry under the auspices of the Industrial Unit of the Eurasian Economic Commission have discussed implementing the most popular mechanisms for supporting industry, such as compensation for part of the interest rate on export loans, co-financing expenses on participating in exhibitions of joint products in third countries as well as concessional financing of investment projects involving the Eurasian Economic Union enterprises in the territory of third countries.

A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council has been held today via videoconferencing involving Heads of State of the Eurasian Economic Union, Nursultan Nazarbayev, Honorary Chairman of the SEEC and First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Igor Dodon, President of the Republic of Moldova, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of the Republic of Cuba, and Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

On November 24, the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board approved Methods for assessing the breeding value of farm animals in the Eurasian Economic Union countries.

Following the Disposition adopted by the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the EEC has agreed on final version of three map sections and drafted an interactive section on the map on the official website of the Eurasian Economic Union. This was stated by Nikolay Kushnarev, Director of Industrial Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission, at a meeting of the high-level Working Group on integration interaction in cooperation and import substitution in priority industries held in the EEC on November 25.

Eurasian Economic Commission’s Council has approved the draft road map for forming a common market for organic agricultural products within the Eurasian Economic Union.
