По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

Improving tax legislation,
exchange of information between tax authorities as well as tax barriers in the
Eurasian Economic Union were discussed at a meeting of the Advisory Committee
on Tax Policy and Administration at the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Uzbekistan to consider EAEU experience in regulating trade issues

On March 15, Andrey Slepnev,
Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Trade of the Eurasian Economic
Commission, and Laziz Kudratov, First Deputy Minister of Investments and
Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, conducted negotiations as part of
the working visit of the Uzbek delegation headed by Sardor Umurzakov, Deputy
Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of
Uzbekistan, to the Russian Federation. Later in the day, Mikhail Myasnikovich,
Chairman of the EEC Board, held a meeting with Sardor Umurzakov involving
Andrey Slepnev, EEC Minister in charge of Trade, during which some issues of
trade cooperation were discussed.
EEC simplified procedure for importing medical tomographs

The Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board has expanded
the list of civil radio-electronic equipment and high-frequency devices the
import of which does not require any authorizations.
In particular, the list was supplemented with magnetic
resonance imaging scanners and medical MRI systems. Besides, specific purposes
of using radio receiving facilities without radio-emitting devices have been
excluded.
EAEU introduces anti-dumping duty on leaf springs from PRC

On February 16, the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board decided to
impose an anti-dumping duty on leaf springs originating from the People's
Republic of China. The measure is imposed for five years; the duty amount will
be 14.11% of the customs value.
