Mikhail Myasnikovich and Alexander Lukashenko discussed Eurasian integration development

     On January 27 during his working visit to Minsk, Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the EEC Board, held a meeting with Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus and Chairman of the SEEC. 

     The sides discussed the issues of developing the Eurasian integration, strengthening the Eurasian Economic Union, and removing obstacles in the internal market.

       As Alexander Lukashenko has stressed, Belarus stands for real integration based on classical principles known to everyone in the world.

     "In May this year, we plan to sign in Minsk the Integration Strategy until 2025. Indeed, we should conceive a serious version of this strategy, without any reservations," the Belarusian President noted.

     "We have to strengthen the Eurasian Economic Union at all levels. Belarus has always (not merely in its chairmanship year) demonstrated and, as the President said, would continue demonstrating a tangible contribution to developing the States’ integration,” Mikhail Myasnikovich told reporters following the meeting.

      The Chairman of the EEC Board is paying a working visit to Minsk on February 27-28.
    Meetings have been scheduled with Sergei Rumas, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Sergeenko, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Republic of Belarus, Anatoly Isachenko, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Dmitry Krutoy, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, and Igor Petrishenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus.​
