The document was approved by Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), and Alexey Gromyko, Chairman of the Gromyko Association for Foreign Policy Studies (AFPS) and Director of the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, on December 25 during a meeting held at the EEC’s headquarters in Moscow.

The Cooperation Program includes the implementation of the Association's initiatives and their support by the EEC. In particular, the plans include a training program for university professors on the Eurasian integration, a competition for young international relations expert as well as joint events.

"Your initiative has a scientific component, the objective of which is to involve young people in research. This is in tune with our work on the formation of the Eurasian elite, which is the most important direction of strengthening the Eurasian Economic Union. Much depends on the people who bring the Union’s ideas to society. It is important who promotes the idea of our association. I hope that such cooperation will help us to find the right people and infect them with the idea of Eurasianism", - Tigran Sargsyan noted.

Alexey Gromyko thanked the Chairman of the EEC Board for supporting the Association's initiatives.

"The greater part of our projects is aimed at the youth, that is, those who will solve the issues of arranging the Eurasian space in the near future. Therefore, our initiatives are primarily concerned with promoting the Eurasian integration idea among young generations", - Alexey Gromyko said.

The meeting participants discussed the main projects of the next year. In particular, Vyacheslav Sutyrin, Executive Director of the Association, Vice-Rector of the State Academic University for the Humanities and Editor in Chief of the "Eurasia.Expert" portal, noted the importance of expert youth meetings in the EEC and the involvement of young people from other countries in the Eurasian agenda.
