On introducing marking of certain commodity groups by means of identification

The Eurasian Economic Commission draws attention to the fact that in accordance with decisions of the EEC Council Nos. 127, 128, 129 and 130 dated November 18, 2019, the EAEU States may introduce marking for perfumes and  eau de toilette; photo cameras (except for film cameras), speedlights and flashbulbs, as well as individual products of light industry as soon as they are ready.

Thus, a year ago, four decisions were adopted regarding four commodity groups. They actually determined the terms, before which marking cannot be introduced, and after which it can be introduced at any time.

For instance, a ban on the circulation of unmarked products can be introduced: for perfumes, eau de toilette, and photo cameras - after October 1, 2020, for tires and tire-covers - after December 1, 2020, for leather clothes, blouses, children's, men's and women's outerwear, for bed, table, toilet, and kitchen linen - from January 1, 2021.

Decisions to introduce marking of the said commodities with the specified ban terms for the circulation of unmarked products have already been adopted in the Russian Federation.

To mark commodities for their delivery to Russia, one can order and receive marking codes through a national operator, provided that it is identified in the Union Member State and has concluded an appropriate agreement with the operator in the Russian Federation, or directly from a counterparty in the Russian Federation.
