Draft Strategy 2025 to include a proposal from Kyrgyzstan on introducing mechanisms and programs for special-purpose financing of catching-up EAEU economies

The meeting of the working group with the participation of the sides' representatives held on November 18 at the Eurasian Economic Commission's headquarters considered the proposal of the Kyrgyz Republic to the draft Strategic Directions for Developing the Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025.

Earlier, the Kyrgyz Republic additionally submitted to the draft Strategy-2025 its proposals to establish a new EAEU development institution and introduce programs for special-purpose financing within existing development institutions. A special working group led by Sergei Glazyev, Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics, was created to examine these initiatives. Jointly with the sides, it prepared a draft Concept for establishing the EAEU Development and Support Institution.

The outcomes will be presented for consideration by the EEC Council before the year-end.​
