Outcomes of EEC Council's meeting

The EEC Council has held a meeting today via videoconferencing.

At a meeting held on July 10, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission ordered to
create a committee for settling disputes related to moving goods in the Eurasian Economic Union.

The Eurasian Economic Union countries
plan to sign an Agreement on simplifying current transit of goods in the EAEU where a security should be provided for paying customs duties.

Amendments have been made to the Eurasian Economic Union’s Technical Regulation "On safety of milk and dairy products". The document has been supplemented with requirements to "reconstituted milk" included in the category of dairy products packaged in consumer packaging. Therefore, an ambiguity about its identification and safety indicators has been removed.

The Eurasian Economic Commission has also approved amendments to the Regulation on the procedure for implementing phytosanitary quarantine control (supervision) within the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
