EEC to discuss innovative development and advanced technologies in EAEU metallurgy

The innovative development of metallurgy, state-of-the-art technologies, automation and digitalization of production processes, and raw materials supply for the industry are to be discussed on April 22 at the Eurasian Economic Commission's venue during the scientific and practical session 'The EAEU Metallurgy: Innovative Development and Advanced Technologies' involving Artak Kamalyan, Member of the Board — EEC Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture.

The event will be held via video conferencing and attended by representatives of authorized authorities, scientific and business circles of the Eurasian Economic Union countries. The speakers include representatives of industry associations of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, research institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and Russia, and leading metallurgical enterprises of the EAEU States.

Four sessions will consider the prospects for automation and digitalization of the Union's enterprises, use of plasma technologies in ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, new technologies for processing iron and scrap metals to provide the industry with raw materials.

Representatives of the professional scientific community and the largest metallurgical enterprises will discuss the main trends in metallurgy development. The speakers will present scientific projects on using new technologies for processing raw materials from industrial and organic waste using the GCCT technology, introducing electronic document flow and RPA technology, expanding the use of innovative aluminum materials in construction, etc.

The session participants will be able to ask questions directly to technology developers, discuss the possibilities of applying them, and agree on cooperation.
