Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the EEC Board, and Sergey Lebedev, Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, signed the action plan for 2021-2022 on implementing the Memorandum on Deepening Interaction between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States on February 5 in Almaty.

The plan involves implementing joint projects and events. Consultations are also planned to lay out approaches to coupling the EAEU law and the CIS regulatory framework, including in terms of eliminating contradictions between the draft regulatory legal acts being developed in the EAEU and the CIS. Furthermore, the document provides for involving young people, public associations and business communities in the processes of functioning of the EAEU and the CIS.
