По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

The countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are making every effort to jointly confront the COVID-19 pandemic. This was stated by a member of the Board (minister) in charge of Customs Cooperation Oleg Pankratov on September 30 at the international round table “The Eurasian Economic Union in the context of the COVID pandemic: realities, problems and prospects for integration”. The event was organized at the initiative of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Foundation for the Promotion of Eurasian Integration Non-governmental Foundation.

Prospects for cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Republic of Austria were discussed by Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Mikhail Myasnikovich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to the Russian Federation Johannes Aigner. The EAEU countries will allow brokers and dealers to participate in each other's organized tenders

On September 29, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved a Draft Agreement on the admission of brokers and dealers of one Member State of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to participate in organized tenders on the exchanges of trade organizers of the other countries of the Union. The document will be sent to the EAEU countries for repeated domestic coordination.

EEC reset import duty rate on magnetrons for microwave ovens

The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) decided to reduce to zero the rate of import customs duty for magnetrons used as components for microwave ovens. The measure will be introduced on a temporary basis until December 31, 2023.

EEC recommends that EAEU countries develop cooperation in the field of production of industrial products for rail transport

Issues of identification and traceability of animals and products of animal origin, national veterinary supervision of particularly dangerous diseases among wild animals, as well as further cooperation between the Commission and the OIE were discussed at the meeting of Viktor Nazarenko, Member of the Board (minister) in charge of Technical Regulation of the EEC, and Budimir Plavsic, head of the Regional representative office of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) at the headquarters of the Eurasian Economic Commission in Moscow.
