Таможенно-тарифное регулирование
По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council has
been held today via videoconferencing involving Heads of State of the Eurasian
Economic Union, Nursultan Nazarbayev, Honorary Chairman of the SEEC and First
President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Igor Dodon, President of the Republic
of Moldova, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Miguel
Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of the Republic of Cuba, and Mikhail
Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

At the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic
Council held on December 11, the Heads of the Eurasian Economic Union countries
decided to ensure completing the first stage activities on establishing the
Union’s common gas market. In particular, to ensure the availability and
completeness of disclosure on available capacities of gas transportation
systems; to develop and agree on uniform rules for access to gas transportation
systems located in the Member States’ territories; to approve the procedure for
conducting stock trading in gas agreed by the Union countries' authorized
authorities.
Growth in container traffic despite COVID-19 pandemic

Owing to transit services, the China — Europe — China route has experienced
an over 60% growth in container traffic during the third quarter of this year.
This was reported by Emil Kaikiev, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of
Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission, at the Digital
Transport Corridors plenary discussion as part of Transport Week 2020.

Issues of implementing the Main Directions and Stages of the Coordinated (Agreed) Transport Policy of the Eurasian Economic Union Member States and the possibility of resuming passenger service by various modes of transport in the EAEU were discussed by attendees of the 18th meeting of the Advisory Committee on Transport and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission held on October 21 via videoconferencing.
