По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

Implementing decisions adopted by the Eurasian Economic Union's governing bodies in the field of technical regulation, performing the internal coordination of the draft Agreement on using navigation seals for tracking shipments in the EAEU, introducing the labeling of goods with identification means on the territory of the Russian Federation and importing such goods into the Russian Federation from the Member States’ territory, as well as implementing the instructions of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council on supplying scrap of ferrous and non-ferrous metals was discussed by the participants of the 4th meeting of the Committee on the elimination of differences and controversial situations and ensuring the freedom of goods movement in the EAEU chaired by Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Board, on February 19.

On February 19, the supreme bodies of state financial control of the Eurasian Economic Union countries held a joint meeting to discuss the results of verifying the transfer and distribution of import customs duties in 2019. The event was chaired by Vasily Gerasimov, Chairman of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus, and was held via videoconferencing.

2021-2023 roadmap for implementing transport policy agreed

Deputy heads of transport departments of the Eurasian Economic Union countries agreed on a roadmap for implementing the transport policy for 2021-2023. This was announced at a meeting held at the Eurasian Economic Commission's headquarters chaired by Emil Kaikiev, Member of the Board — Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure of the EEC.

Wasilya Tuleuovna Baikadamova was born on December 21, 1972 in Karaganda (Kazakhstan). In 1993, she graduated from the Kazakhstan Institute of Consumer Cooperation, in 1999 - from the Modern Humanitarian Institute, in 2018 - from the Financial Academy.

EEC to develop new approaches to antitrust compliance based on standardization system

EAEU countries to deepen cooperative ties in aviation industry

The Eurasian Economic Union countries will develop cooperation in the aviation industry. This decision was made at a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Advisory Committee on Industry. The need to address this issue was highlighted by Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in December 2020.

EEC proposed creating an academic mobility platform

This initiative was put forward by Artak Kamalyan, Member of the Board — Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and Dmitry Endovitsky, Vice President of the Russian Union of Rectors and Rector of Voronezh State University, at the second meeting of the Presidium of the Scientific and Technical Council under the Chairman of the EEC Board held on February 17.
