По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) proposes to be proactive in the competition protection in the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Marat Kussainov, the Member of the Board (Minister) in charge of Competition and Antitrust regulation of the EEC, announced this at the extended meeting of the Collegium of the Federal Antimonopoly Service as part of the annual international event “Competition Week in Russia”. “We are already working on such institutions, and in the near future, we plan to submit the proposal about them for consideration by the authorized bodies of the countries of the Union,” the EEC Minister pointed out.

On September 25, the foreign trade-related issues of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries were considered at a meeting of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). In particular, the EEC Board established tariff quotas on long-grain rice from Vietnam for 2019 and extended the anti-dumping measure on graphite electrodes from India.

The Ministers of Energy of the five Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) discussed the single methodology of tariff (price) setting in respect of gas transportation services within the common gas market. The joint conference took place at the headquarters of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) on September 19.
“Tremendous work has been done to establish the common gas market of the Union. We hold this conference to comply with the instruction of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in order to settle the only remaining difference”, - noted the Chairman of the EEC Board Tigran Sargsyan in opening the consultation.
