Medicines

The common market of medicines functions within the Union in accordance with Article 30 of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union dated May 29, 2014, the Agreement on Unified Principles and Rules for the Circulation of Medicines Within the Eurasian Economic Union dated December 23, 2014, as well as in accordance with the acts of the Eurasian Economic Commission in the sphere of circulation of medicines.

Medical products

The common market of medical products functions within the Union in accordance with Article 31 of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union dated May 29, 2014, the Agreement on Unified Principles and Rules for the Circulation of Medical Products (Medical Devices and Equipment) Within the Eurasian Economic Union dated December 23, 2014, as well as in accordance with the acts of the Eurasian Economic Commission in the sphere of circulation of medical products.

The registration and expert examination of medical products are mandatory for their release into circulation within the Union and are performed by the authorized authority of the reference Member State.

Moreover, the same requirements are applied both to medical products manufactured in the territory of the Union and those imported into the customs territory of the Union from third states.
