Armen Harutyunyan

Armen Anatolievich Harutyunyan was born on September 9, 1981.

In 2009, he graduated from the Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia, he is Master in Public Administration. In 2011, he graduated from the University of Bristol, he is Master in International Development.

He started his career in 2005 as Specialist in market grouping and research at the "Center for Agribusiness and Rural Development" Foundation (Yerevan), he worked as Marketing Consultant-Economist in this organization.

From 2011 to 2012, he headed a section at the Armenian Harvest Promotion Center, CJSC.

From 2012 to 2018, he rose through the ranks from Adviser to Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia.

From 2019 to 2020, he was Senior Adviser for Sustainable and Digital Agriculture at the Global Center for Technology, Innovation and Sustainable Development, UN Development Programme, Singapore.

In November 2020, he was appointed Director of the EEC Agricultural Policy Department.​
